Next, we will sell to you a 55-gallon drum of non-hazardous solvent. You control the amount of solvent that you use based on how much you use the parts washer. How hard is it to change the solvent? Simply lift the tub off of the drum. There are no bolts, screws or levers. No special tools are required and change over really does take approximately 10 minutes.

Material Safety Data Sheets are available for your review. We will even pick up the drum of used solvent when you have finished with it. Requirements:

• One new baggie liner
• Clean solvent

• Fresh Water

• One Non-Hazardous waste drum
• Approximately 20 minutes

Procedure:

1. Scrape or rinse as much sediment and sludge as possible from the washer tub down the drain into the already-dirty solvent in the base drum.
2. Using the recirculating pump, transfer as much dirty solvent as possible from the drum into the waste drum. Take care not to run the pump dry, as it may cause damage in the shaft seal.
3. Lift the washer tub off the base drum.
4. Using the pail or coffee can remove the balance of the liquid in the bottom of the base drum. Add this to the solvent that was pumped out.
5. Tie up the top of the old baggie liner, lift out, and dispose of the sludge and sediment content into the waste drum.
6. Make sure the inside of the base drum is relatively clean. Insert a new baggie liner, folding the excess over the outside base drum.
7. Refill the base drum with the required amounts of solvent and/or fresh water.
8. Replace the washer tub.
