With our one stop service, Global is an easy and economical outlet for both ballast and lamp recycling needs. Global maintains a close working relationship with each lamp recycler to ensure strict adherence to all pertinent federal, state, and local regulations. In fact, Global regularly performs "in-process" inspections of these facilities to assure ourselves of the quality of operations. Global will arrange for shipping containers to be delivered to the job-site and the transportation back to our facility. Once on-site, we will accurately inventory and consolidate shipments, repackage if necessary, and ship to an approved lamp recycling facility. The last piece of information is the recycling and reduction certificate that Global will acquire and provide the customer.

Fluorescent lighting ballast recycling is the best alternate today! Our facility has the capability of processing (approximately 10 million pounds) a year. LRI have designed the facility utilizing the latest available technology and procedures. They have gone to great lengths and expense to build the safest and most environmentally efficient ballast waste reduction and recycling facility. Global has procedures for researching regulatory requirements within specific regions and/or states, and designed services that reduce customer costs. Customers may choose to have Global provide complete "turn key" services and/or integrate individual requirements. Regardless of the approach, Global provides complete administration of shipping containers being delivered to the job-site as well as for coordinating transportation to pick-up the ballast. Once at the facility the ballast are weighed, valuable commodities (i.e. copper) are tested and recycled, and hazardous materials are shipped to an EPA approved incinerator for destruction. Throughout the process, customers are provided with comprehensive, timely information that accurately tracks and reports on their individual shipments, including certificates of receipt and incineration.
